Sky’s brief called for a spy-noir title sequence infused with comic flair and a sprinkle of festive charm. Studio AKA’s director Kristian Andrews answered the call with a sleek, graphic style, following Mack and McCausland as they clumsily dodge, dive, and stumble their way through the opening credits in pursuit of the Brennans. The result? A sequence packed with hidden details, sharp comedic timing, and all the holiday tropes you’d expect.

Working with a small, focused team, Andrews elevated a pared-back visual narrative, adding just the right amount of festive fun. ‘Bad Tidings’ sets the tone for a feel-good holiday film, primed to get you in the Christmas spirit.
