“Once upon a midnight dreary,

while I pondered, weak and weary…”

 

Mother NYC commissioned STUDIO AKA, through Psyop, to animate a 15” Instagram Story for the New York Public Library initiative that brings classic works of literature to the public.

For Halloween, the eponymous The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe is re-envisaged by Director Marcus Armitage within a stark landscape where the differing perspectives of both the Raven and Poe’s protagonist steadily converge, until there is   “darkness there and nothing more…”
